About Us
Key Driving School is a national driving school with instructors based in most areas of the UK. We differ from many driving schools because most of our driving instructors are trained by our sister company – Key Instructor Training which is a DSA approved training establishment of driving instructors. All of our instructors are trained to the very highest standard, use the very latest teaching techniques, and abide by strict codes of conduct laid down by the Driving Standards agency.
All of our instructors are patient, friendly, and highly skilled. We have both male and female instructors in most areas so if you have a preference please ask and we will do our best to accommodate.
We operate a fleet of brand new cars that are replaced every year meaning that not only do you get great tuition but you get to drive a comfortable, clean, safe vehicle.
We offer several ways of learning to drive. You may wish to take regular weekly lessons, or perhaps you are in a hurry and want to do an intensive course. Either way we are sure to have a solution for you. We even offer GUARANTEED PASS courses in many areas of the UK.
We believe in putting our money where our mouth is which is why we offer your first driving lesson for just £10, and in some areas from time to time the first 5 for just £49 (subject to availability – ask for details). These offers give you the opportunity to meet your local Key instructor and to see for yourself just how much you can learn with us. After your initial lesson(s) our rates are very competitive – OK so we’re not the cheapest but we certainly aren’t the most expensive. With us you get excellent value for money, a great instructor, and in many cases may well need far less lessons than with some “cheaper” schools.
On a final note – there has been a lot of talk in the press recently about unscrupulous driving schools who are not adequately qualified to teach yet who teach illegally. Be very careful that you don’t get caught out by one of these instructors. All Key instructors are registered with the Driving Standards Agency and licensed to give tuition.
